"Pro's: Zurich natives I showed this to agreed it had all the most interesting sites, and with good detail on those sites.
Con's: The author warns you that standard guidebooks will provide detailed maps, and so this book provides few navigation aids. I understand the philosophy here, but it does mean that if one does not know Zurich, one cannot use this book without also fumbling around with a second map, or a smartphone map. I think the book could be greatly improved if even small inset maps were provided with each site. Put the burden on the reader to find the right neighborhood, but then assist us with the precise location. We spent a LOT of time aimlessly wandering, sure we were CLOSE to the sight being discussed, but frustrated that we couldn't figure out which corner it was around"
